Sunset James Barton 81 Cocasset St., Foxboro, MA 02035 has a middle initial for David Searl (husband of Olive Tracy) of A. which he speculates might stand for Allis. He also states that Olive Tracy died in Bath, Greene Co., OH (which would have been in 1834 or earlier since the Searl family moved to Il in 1834) He also writes that David Searl lived for a time at Searl's Ridge which was first known as Hoskins Prarie and was part of Putnam County (until divided and becoming Bureau Co.) David later moved to Hennepin in ajoining Putnam County. (need to check this out) in "Reminiscenses of Bureau County, Illinois pp 278-80 it states that the Searl family came here in 1834.
